The mortar type is a prescription mortar, which is characterized by the fact that it is produced from a fixed mixing ratio between certain components.

The mortar is used as a binder in various masonry constructions to bind the bricks together. Mortar can however also be used for tiling as well as plastering and jointing material.

The mortar is delivered as a ready-mixed product that can be used directly without further processing. However, it is also possible to add other materials, e.g. cement, to obtain improved properties.
