Dyrup’s Kombi Grunder and Acrylic Mellemmalling 275, are a type of acrylic paint, which is generally composed of pigments, binders, fillers & additives, and a diluent.

The function of the primer is to provide a clean and stable base for the paint to adhere to, furthermore improving the durability of the surface coat, and providing an extra layer of protection against moisture, rust, and other environmental factors. The undercoat is applied after the primer and functions to provide an even base for the topcoat of paint,  to protect the surface to which it is applied, shielding the surface from UV radiation, moisture, and oxidation.
