The staircase is manufactured in the BV Trappen A/S own production in Koldby where raw wood is transformed into a unique and tailored staircase. The EPD covers a staircase consisting of steps (stair tread) and handrails produced in either ash, oak, or pine. Additionally, it is composed of other components such as wooden posts, wooden balusters, risers, etc. The covered staircase represents a standard staircase where the material composition, quantity of materials, and processing requirements are normalized to represent the following types of stairs: T10, T11, T12, T13, T14, and T15.
